TOCCI acted as Program Manager for BMC’s $430 million, 5 Year Clinical Campus Redesign.

Boston Medical Center (BMC), a 496-bed academic medical center in Boston’s historic South End, selected TOCCI as Program Manager for its redesign program through 2013-2019. The complex, phased project included renovations to the Menino Pavilion, Moakley, and Yawkey Buildings, and the construction of a patient transport bridge between the helipad and medical center.

TOCCI worked with BMC to select the right delivery method for each project site; BMC opted for Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) for the most complex, largest project – Menino Pavilion. The delivery method for the Moakley Building was TOCCI’s Highly Collaborative Project Delivery (HCPD), while the Yawkey Building utilized a more conventional BIM approach.

Through 2017, TOCCI oversaw project delivery innovation, integrated cost and schedule controls, and coordinated implementation of the 3 projects.
