Tocci Building Companies was featured in The Boston Globe for its completion of Chelsea Place.

Tocci officially completed the project in July and it didn’t take long for the word to get out about its unique construction process.

Chelsea Place is a new residential building located in historic Chelsea, MA. This project was built using 80 pre-fabricated modular in 3 phases. These modular went together like Lego blocks and, once stacked together, the finishing touches were applied.

Chelsea Place consists of 56 units spanning over 80,000 square feet with next-door access to public transportation and underground parking for residents. Other notable features are its close proximity to downtown Boston (5 miles) and its LEED certification.

In comparison to a traditional project schedule, a modular project schedule enables residences to be ready for occupancy 30 percent to 50 percent sooner.
