Tocci was awarded its 24th AGC safety award

Tocci Building Corporation (Tocci), a Boston-area construction management company and leader in virtual design was awarded with a National Safety Award by the Massachusetts branch of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) on June 24th at The Boston College Club in Boston. This marks the 24th consecutive year that Tocci has been a recipient of the award, and further distinguishes the company as a leader in safety.

The National Safety Award recognizes firms that have developed and successfully implemented industry-leading safety standards across its portfolio of work. The award program incentivizes construction firms to evaluate and improve existing safety standards. In order to qualify for a Safety Award, an AGC-member firm must participate in the AGC Safety Awards Program for three consecutive years and have either zero lost-day incidence cases, or an average incidence case rate 25% below the average rate of all firms that participate in that particular division.

For more than 40 years, the US Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and its state partners have inspired positive and dramatic change in workplace safety. Tocci continuously strives to promote and exceed the standards set by OSHA, ensuring that its jobsites are managed with an even higher level of safety compliance than what is required.

The safety of our team members is a primary focus for Tocci at all times, and continued education about safe practices within our firm remains a high priority. This award is a direct reflection of our company values, and highlights our commitment to clear communication, training, and employee wellness.
