TOCCI celebrated Construction Inclusion Week 2022 by recommitting to a Culture of CARE, diving into our trade partner diversity, and opening communication on subconscious biases.

Culture of CARE: On Monday, our project teams and office staff heard from executive management on TOCCI’s full commitment to fostering a Culture of CARE at every level and in all aspects of our organization. We believe in the intrinsic worth of each employee and the right to a safe, welcoming environment. Office staff then signed the pledge, as site staff and subcontractors signed posters.

Supplier Diversity: Wednesday’s topic saw insight from TOCCI’s Compliance and New Business Manager, Tammi Gott on our compliance requirements and initiatives to obtain more MBE/WBE trade partners. Read our Trader Partner Diversity insight here.

Workplace Culture: On Thursday, a Lunch and Learn was hosted by TOCCI Project Manager and ICF-certified coach, Zeina Habib. Staff sat down for an open discussion on sexism, racism, and ageism.

Construction Inclusion Week wrapped up with a a job fair hosted at TOCCI’s multifamily development in Brighton. Community Engagement was alive and well as Tammi Gott met with applicants for 1515 Commonwealth Ave!

Construction Inclusion Week is the first effort to harness the collective power of general contractors, specialty contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
