General ManagerWe Are Committed to Giving Back
TOCCI’s giving culture grows out of compassion for local and global communities. We conduct yard cleanups at a women’s shelter, volunteer at a non-profit providing clothing for children, donate to local food pantries, and purchase Christmas gifts for teens in detention. We make generous contributions to Lebanon to help Syrian refugees, victims of the Beirut explosion, and people in need of food assistance. We’ve also contributed to orphanages in Romania and Guatemala. TOCCI’s Wellness Team offers employees opportunities to give back through Service Grants and volunteer days.

Zeina’s (TOCCI Project Manager) remarkable workshop presentations at Project Hope help our students find the qualities and motivations that set them apart. Our students face the daunting challenge of getting started in new, high-pressure fields and often need to overcome difficult obstacles and life experiences. With her exercises in centering students and recognizing their core strengths, Zeina helps them find ways to not merely fit in at a new professional setting but also bring unique and much-needed talents and perspectives to healthcare work.

Wellness For All
TOCCI’s Wellness Team helps us eat better, exercise more, and stress less. The team invites companywide participation and oversees programs including healthy food choices through Instacart and farm-to-table meal deliveries. Our onsite fitness room helps us exercise any time of day. Working in the raised-bed garden reduces stress. Monthly wellness emails create awareness on vital topics like anxiety, depression, and financial well-being. We coordinate with our safety director, field supervisors, and trades to discuss sensitive topics including suicide prevention and drug and alcohol use.

Latest Wellness Insights
A person’s physical and mental well-being blurs the lines between work life and home life. It is a much deeper subject than safety rules and regulations because it shapes the mindset from which people carry out their work and make important decisions. We are a company who supports our people in improving their overall health and well-being. Our mission is to send our people home at the end of the day in better condition than when they arrived that morning.

Committing to DEI
Construction injects vitality into a neighborhood; TOCCI is committed to sharing that vitality with locals through jobs and partnerships with minorities and women. For TOCCI, compliance is more than a requirement – we have a deep commitment to hire vendors, trades, and a workforce that is truly diverse and inclusive. Diverse teams are stronger. As a company, we strive to improve outreach and development to hire and retain talented people. We work to increase partnerships with diverse and minority/woman-owned subcontractors and vendors.

Working with TOCCI on Courthouse Lofts was truly a pleasure. I was amazed at their efforts to hire local companies like mine as well as a local, diverse workforce. They exceeded the goals established for the project – one of the first in the City of Worcester to achieve such a feat. TOCCI’s commitment to small business goes beyond compliance. They understand the needs of a company like mine and came alongside me to pave the way for our growth as well as success.
