Tocci Assembles Face Shields for BMC

In late March, Tocci utilized their industry channels and vendors to acquire over 500 masks and shields for Boston Medical Center.

To this day, roughly 350 masks are used daily, so the demand for PPE remains high. This month Tocci employees had the opportunity to continue to support the mission to provide PPE by donating their time to assemble 500 additional face shields for the hospital.

BMC received a generous donation of face shields from MIT. Assistance with assembly was needed, and Tocci was thrilled to pitch in. The shield parts were distributed amongst various employees and they got to work with the folding and assembly. The finished shields were delivered back to the hospital to be used as needed.

Tocci’s efforts, combined with the time and effort donated by E4H Environments for Health Architecture, Eversource MA, Middlesex Interiors, Tsoi Kobus Design, Stantec, and MIT’s initial donation, shows, once again, what can be done when multiple teams join forces for a greater purpose.
