This week we checked in with our project, Station Row, for a progress update.
This project sits right along the Amtrak rail lines leading to the Providence Station. This tight site makes for unique logistics during construction. Lead Superintendent, Matt Neel, gave us the scoop:
The concrete foundations have been completed. Steel erection is forecasted to be complete by the end of the week, with decking and detailing progressing as well. Slab on deck placements are well underway with three quarters of the third floor placed. Half of the second floor pours are completed. We have begun standing wood wall panels on the third floor for sequences one through three. Trusses have arrived on site and will start to be set in place at the end of the week. Fireproofing of structural steel in the parking garage areas is underway, while mechanical trades are proceeding behind with the installation of the MEPs.
