Tocci’s 8-story hotel in Providence makes great progress despite the cold.

We spoke with Assistant Project Manager, Andrew DiFraia, to get the scoop:

Tocci has completed the two story steel podium, wrapped it for protection from the weather, and installed temp heat. Tocci and the MEP trades have been laying out the pipe sleeves which are expected to be completed at the end of the week.

The third floor slab is scheduled to be poured at the beginning of next week, while the first of the wall panel deliveries is set to hit the site shortly. Layout and install on the prefab metal panels will begin next week and continue for the next few months.

We are currently installing the underground utilities and plumbing on the ground floor, and have begun to truck in stone to back fill and grade for the ground floor slab.
