Project Updates: Where Are We Now?

Tocci has been busy this summer with a great deal of progress seen on many job sites.
Projects from New Jersey to Massachusetts are underway.
Here is a peek at a few projects and how they are coming along:
At the Homewood Suites project site, more than 80% of the framing in the first two quadrants has been installed. The roof work is finishing up shortly and windows are expected to arrive on site very soon. Additionally, the elevator will be installed in the next couple of weeks with the mechanical rough having already started.
At the Waltham Landing site, they are in the process of completing the siding and trim, the roof deck, and rubber roofing. MEP trades are on site for installation. The project is on track for completion this fall.
The project is coming to a close. In order to wrap up the job, there are some punch list items inside and out to be completed, including some exterior and interior paintwork. The project is expected to be finished in the next couple of weeks.
In section A of the building, they are working on punch list items. The finishes are wrapping up in section B with section C right on its heels. On the outside of the building, the hardscaping and landscaping are shaping up nicely. This project will be wrapping up in the next couple of months.
The project is moving right along with the completion of the foundation for the community building and building one. Three of the five residential buildings are also underway.
The foundation work has been completed along with the underground plumbing. This week, they will begin the 1st slab pour. The project will consist of three levels of steel with slab and light gauge metal for the additional 5 stories.
The last framing delivery will arrive this week, which will allow the lumber installation to wrap up. The project is then gearing up for the finishing trades to complete their work with a projected finish in September.
This project is being built upon an existing parking garage, to prepare it for the new building on top, reinforcing steel had to be installed which is now 90% complete. The demo in the garage is nearly complete. They are in the process of settling and welding cast iron plates. Commencement of the steel erection began shortly before. Over the next week, the additional steel will arrive on site.
