Demolition at Homewood Suites in Brookline

Just a couple of months ago we reported breaking ground for a new project in Brookline.
Demolition is officially underway at the 111 Boylston Street location, the existing home to Red Cab, to make way for the new five-story Homewood Suites by Hilton. Demolition began about a month ago with the removal of an existing three-story wood frame building at 12 Kerrigan Way before moving on to the demolition of the existing buildings on the 111 Boylston Street property. After demo shoring and excess soil removal, concrete will begin being placed early this December. The project is scheduled to be completed in December 2015.
