Construction has begun on the Hilton Homewood Suites in Providence, Rhode Island

This is Tocci’s second project working with First Bristol Corporation. The consultant team is led by ZDS.

The project is a 120 room, 8 story hotel in the heart of downtown Providence. The 108,000 sf facility will sit on just over a half of an acre, which makes site logistics challenging. The hotel will consist of a two-story structural steel podium topped with six stories of light gauge metal framing.

The site and concrete subcontractors have been hard at work with the installation of the footings and foundation wall. Several 30′ high concrete walls will be formed and poured with those activities starting at the end of September. Structural steel is expected on site by the end of October.
