TOCCI’s  Project Executive oversees multiple projects, assuring Project Managers meet Client and TOCCI goals for safety, schedule, budget, and quality. Primary responsibilities include project oversight, team development, contract development and compliance, communication with stakeholders, project profitability, and risk mitigation.

responsibilities

  • Participates in negotiation and execution of Client and subcontractor contracts and labor agreements. 
  • Develops project execution strategies, including budget, schedule, quality, safety, and risk management plans. 
  • Facilitates project goals, supports project teams, and protects stakeholder and Tocci interests and assets.
  • Reviews progress reports to assure on-target cost, schedule, safety and risk management; directs course corrections as needed. 
  • Identifies key issues and develops strategies to overcome challenges. 
  • Promotes use of technology and methods including VDC, DfMA, Sustainable and Lean Construction to enhance building quality and performance. 
  • Inspires team productivity and camaraderie through guidance and thoughtful leadership. 
  • Assures client satisfaction and measures fulfillment of client goals through surveys and feedback.  
  • Develops positive relationships with OSHA, building inspectors, and municipal authorities to assure regulatory compliance, approvals, and occupancy permits. 
  • Develops positive relationships with building trade organizations, unions and subcontractors to assure qualified, adequate manpower and quality construction. 
  • Builds high performance teams through coaching, training, and providing challenging opportunities for members.
  • Demonstrates personal accountability, integrity and ethics and ensures teams align with company values. 
  • Supports business development by cultivating business relationships. 
  • Represents TOCCI through community involvement and activities. 

requirements

  • 15 years total, 5 years full-charge experience on projects from $5-$150 million.  
  • Minimum BS degree in construction management or industry related degree.
  • Software: Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office. 
  • Intensity + good humor + effective team player. 
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • Willingness to own TOCCI’s mission and values. 
  • Performance of essential duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.   
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.   
  • Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, as well as the ability to sit, talk, and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.  
  • This job requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.  
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly visits active construction sites where the noise is usually moderate to very loud.    
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds .
