People taking notes while learning about BIM at Tocci's Collocation center

Tocci recently held a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Symposium for Tufts University in Tocci’s Training and Colocation Center.

Tufts University turned to Tocci to train project management, procurement, and facilities staff on the value and importance of BIM for campus management. The full-day event took place on Monday, August 13, 2012.

For the day, Tocci assembled both industry and internal experts to discuss the value of BIM for a university. Presenters included Chuck Mies, Autodesk; Gary Younger, Harvard University; Craig Dubler and Colleen Kasprzak, the Pennsylvania State University; and John Tocci and Pierce Reynoldson, Tocci.

This partnership will yield positive results and new opportunities for our firm, as well as The New England Regional Council of Carpenters, due to a shared understanding of industry-leading building processes, quality of work, and safety practices. We look forward to collaborative efforts on new and notable projects while continuing to deliver highly-efficient and cost-effective solutions to our clients in the future.
