TOCCI’s 3rd Annual Project Hope Shelter Clean-Up

Group of volunteers at Project Hope women's shelter

A group of volunteers returned to Project Hope’s Dorchester shelter for their 3rd annual clean-up day.

The group worked outside to landscape their outdoor community space, playground, and field. Tasks included gardening, lawn-mowing, and weed whacking. The children love getting outside and enjoying their outdoor space, and TOCCI is pleased to continue returning yearly to help encourage outdoor time and exercise!

This volunteer opportunity was made possible by the planning and coordination of Project Hope’s staff as well as the TOCCI-sponsored Johan Mackenzie Service Program. This program encourages employee volunteerism and the support of non-profit organizations that improve the well-being of people in need. The program provides either two Service Volunteer Days off per year or one Service Matching Grant Award up to $2,000 per year to participate in a volunteer event or activity.

This was TOCCI’s 5th volunteer opportunity with Project Hope and they look forward to continue supporting their cause.
