Tocci volunteers at Boston Building Resources

Tocci sends 8 volunteers to Boston Building Resources

Boston Building Resources (BBR) is a charitable nonprofit organization that collects donated building materials for resale. Our team had the opportunity to visit their reuse center and help organize, measure, and reassemble donations in preparation for resale. The volunteers had a great time handling the wide variety of donations ranging from doors and flooring to lights and bathroom fixtures.

The BBR team was great to work with and they were very appreciative of the extra help. BBR only staffs a few full-time employees, so they look forward to taking in volunteers whenever possible. If interested in volunteering at BBR’s reuse center, visit the link here.

Our crew was able to partake in this volunteer activity thanks to the Johan Mackenzie Service Program sponsored by Tocci. This program encourages employee volunteerism and the support of non-profit organizations that improve the well-being of people in need. This program provides either two Service Volunteer Days off per year or one Service Matching Grant Award up to $2,000 per year to participate in a volunteer event or activity.
