Tocci sends 10 volunteers to Boston to spearhead a beatification day at Project Hope’s shelter in Roxbury.

Last week Tocci Building Corporation (Tocci), a Woburn based construction management company, sent 10 volunteers to Boston to spearhead a beatification day at Project Hope’s shelter in Roxbury. The group worked indoors and out, doing landscape maintenance outside to improve community spaces and playgrounds, while another group organized donations and supplies inside. It was a fantastic opportunity for the Tocci team to work together supporting an important local multi-service agency.

This volunteer opportunity was made possible by the great staff at Project Hope who helped to plan and coordinate the day, as well as the Johan Mackenzie Service Program sponsored by Tocci. This program encourages employee volunteerism and the support of non-profit organizations that improve the well-being of people in need. This program provides either two Service Volunteer Days off per year or one Service Matching Grant Award up to $2,000 per year to participate in a volunteer event or activity.

Tocci is excited to return to Project Hope in July to participate in mock interview sessions to prepare attendees for upcoming job interviews.
