Amgen Biomanufacturing Facility
TOCCI’s Collaboration on Amgen’s Pharmaceutical Building
TOCCI collaborated with Jacobs and Pharmadule Morimatsu to deliver Amgen’s first next-generation biomanufacturing facility in the U.S. This 75,000 sf building merges traditional steel construction with advanced modular systems to house lab, cleanroom, and support spaces. Designed for speed, flexibility, and sustainability, the facility achieves reduced cost, waste, and energy use—setting a new benchmark for efficient pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Design + Delivery
Amgen’s new facility demanded an exceptional level of planning and precision. Working within an active manufacturing campus, TOCCI coordinated to align complex mechanical, electrical, and cleanroom systems within strict pharmaceutical standards. Early design integration and disciplined project controls kept every phase on schedule, from modular fabrication through installation.
Steel-framed and modular systems were designed in parallel, allowing fabrication to begin early and reducing overall construction time by nearly half.
Working alongside Jacobs and Pharmadule Morimatsu, TOCCI synchronized complex MEP, cleanroom, and lab systems to meet rigorous biomanufacturing standards.
Early digital coordination and strict QA/QC protocols minimized rework, ensuring seamless assembly and optimized performance from delivery through commissioning.
Infinite possibilities in defined spaces
