TOCCI will be hosting a blood drive on February 3rd.

After a hiatus due to COVID and some technical difficulties with the Bloodmobile, Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) and TOCCI are teaming back up to host our sixth blood drive on Friday, February 3^rd. The BCH Bloodmobile comes equipped with three health history rooms and five donor beds. It will be stationed in our parking lot for the day collecting pints of blood from eligible donors for patients at Children’s.

According to the American Red Cross, every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. Thinking about my half hour commute to work – while I’m driving and leisurely listening to a true crime podcast, 900 people will need blood. NINE HUNDRED people. Needless to say, the demand for blood donations is abundant. Are you willing and able to help?
