A startup company out of Israel has recently developed honeycomb-shaped solar panels, which can be built into facades to produce energy.

The panels are made from acrylic and are thought to be able to produce up to 140 watts of electricity per square meter when positioned properly on a building. They’re currently researching ways to make this a more viable commercial option for seamless integration into mid and high-rise facades. Read more about it here!
