Tocci Builds with Habitat for Humanity

Group of Tocci volunteers at Habitat for Humanity in 2006

Tocci staff volunteered their labor on Saturday, October 7, for Habitat Lowell’s Governor Street, Reading, MA project.

The two houses, sponsored by Tocci’s wall raiser donation to each house, broke ground in July.

Employees crowned and set roof beams, installed second-story sub-floors, and performed other rough carpentry tasks. The quintessential fall day was perfect for “hard” labor. Tocci brought lunch for all volunteers, including Dion and Maziarzes recipient family members and local residents. Dave Berman, Habitat Project Superintendent, reported a substantial amount of work was completed. Seven months of work remain before the families take possession of their new homes. Tocci will be back as a volunteer group on another Saturday soon!
