Tight Site Coordination
Building in this high-traffic corridor required careful coordination—from deep excavation for a two-level underground garage to staged deliveries and noise mitigation to minimize disruption. The design demanded a sensitive response to its surroundings, blending industrial and residential architectural cues across each building face.
We worked closely with the design team and city officials to navigate zoning, integrate active public spaces, and maintain pedestrian connectivity. Despite limited laydown space and logistical hurdles, the team delivered a complex structure that feels open, livable, and grounded in its context. The result is a seamless addition to the evolving Cambridge streetscape—both visually compelling and community-minded.
