Tocci sponsored a breakfast fundraiser hosted by Parenting Resource Associates (PRA)
On October 30, 2008, Tocci sponsored a breakfast fundraiser hosted by Parenting Resource Associates (PRA), a Lexington, MA, based non-profit providing services to homeless Massachusetts parents seeking support and guidance in becoming self-sufficient. Invited Tocci guests are partners in the Integrated Project Delivery program ongoing for the new Autodesk East Coast Headquarters currently constructed in Waltham, MA.
Showcased at the PRA Breakfast was their COMPASS Community College Collaborative, developed in conjunction with the Massachusetts Community Colleges’ welfare-to-work training programs. The COMPASS Community College Collaborative (CCCC), offers career and life skills training to homeless single mothers working to transition from shelter life to employment and permanent residences. Many of the mothers engaged in the CCCC program offered through Middlesex Community College, Lowell, MA, and Roxbury Community College are or were living in Waltham area shelters. Attendees were touched by an engaging video and first-hand stories of struggle and hope from CCCC participants and graduates.
Tocci Building Corporation has a long history of good neighbor activism. The Company participates in select charitable and community development programs in the cities and towns it builds in.
