TOCCI Leads 2nd Virtual Mock Interview with Project Hope

Share

TOCCI volunteers took part in its second virtual volunteer event with Project Hope’s team in a mock interview workshop for their Administrative Jobs in Healthcare Workforce Development Program.

This program assists participants with job placement and employment coaching to successfully find jobs in the healthcare sector. It aims to expand technical prowess in understanding medical terminology and computer software, while also building softer communication skills to better understand various work cultures. The topics in this workshop included “Best Practices for Networking Online” and “How to Enhance Your Customer Service Skills”.

6 TOCCI volunteers were matched with a partner and given 15-20 minutes to lead a mock interview and provide feedback. The workshop consisted of two rounds, allowing participants to practice with two volunteers and utilize feedback to improve each round. The one-on-one connection paired with helping someone improve their interview skills created a very rewarding experience for our team.

TOCCI is pleased to continue supporting local non-profits and volunteer opportunities into 2021 and beyond. This is TOCCI’s 5th event with Project Hope, and we look forward to supporting them in future initiatives.
