The holiday season is here and to get in the spirit Tocci has been busy decorating both inside and outside.

Last Friday, December 5th after work, we held a Tree Trimming Party.

Amy, our Director of Program Development, explains the tradition: “John, a few other employees, and I dreamt up this tradition when we first moved to 660. The first couple of years we did this I handmade personalized ornaments for each employee. The tree-trimming party started off with each staffer placing their own ornament on the tree. One year, Joe Ferolito, I think, suggested that we ask each person to bring in their own choice of ornament. Some of the ornaments on our yearly tree originated from the years when we did that. Other ornaments, such as the large snowflakes and gift boxes were extras from our annual Holiday Charitable Donation – another tradition John and I started. Those donations were made in the names of our project stakeholders. We sent each stakeholder a story about the donation and included a small Christmas ornament.”
