Since establishing UMass’s biotech park, creating Polar Park stadium, and improving Worcester Polytechnic University, Clark University, and Holy Cross University’s campuses, the city is re-emerging as an economically viable choice for young professionals and families.

Polar Park hosts more than 72 days of family-fun home games; it is a year-round anchor to downtown revitalization – prime for shopping, dining, and pub establishments. Future growth is scheduled for the area with the demolition of Table Talk’s pie factory to construct multi-family housing.
