Boston Medical Center Crosstown – Primary Care Clinic

Boston Medical Center Crosstown – Primary Care Clinic

TOCCI renovated the 5th floor of BMC’s Crosstown Medical Center to create an outpatient Primary Care Clinic.

The project included outfitting outpatient services—47 exam rooms, 15 offices, multiple reception spaces, and charting rooms—to serve the Crosstown community. Sleek glass storefronts, updated flooring, and demountable partitions with KI’s modular wall panel system create a bright and welcoming space for patient care.

Crosstown Reimagined

Following Boston Medical Center’s 2018 acquisition of the Crosstown Center, the facility has undergone a phased redevelopment to support the hospital’s expanding outpatient services. This project was part of a 6-year, multi-phased IPD project throughout the majority of the Crosstown building.

Modular Momentum

BMC Crosstown’s Primary Care Clinic was the first successful integration of KI modular walls in the building. Because the KI system supported a cleaner, safer jobsite, minimized disruption to trades, and enabled a smoother, faster construction cycle, the project team incorporated the approach into BMC Crosstown Adult Clinical Unit, and BMC Crosstown Outpatient Pediatrics Clinic.

Smart Walls, Healthier Spaces

To help Boston Medical Center deliver compassionate care in a modern, efficient clinic environment, TOCCI integrated modular KI wall systems that sped up construction, improved acoustics, and supported infection control.
