Ave Union: Transit-Oriented Living with Urban Connectivity

Positioned adjacent to a New Jersey commuter rail line and university campus, Ave Union is a 4-story, 227-unit extended-stay apartment complex. The 400,000 sf development features a wood-framed podium structure over a 100,000 sf concrete garage, centered around a landscaped courtyard and amenity space.

Its square-shaped plan, featuring an open courtyard and pool, provides residents with a calm interior retreat while maintaining direct access to commuter transit and campus amenities. Thoughtful site development—including a 40-foot retaining wall and extensive hardscaping—enhances both functionality and visual cohesion within a constrained urban footprint.
