Tocci Breaks Ground on Worcester Homewood Suites
Tocci continues successful hospitality projects by breaking ground on 118-key Homewood Suites.
Tocci participated in the official groundbreaking of the new Hilton Homewood Suites Hotel at 1 Washington Square in Worcester, MA, on February 29th.
Tocci will provide construction management services on behalf of developer First Bristol Corporation, while working collaboratively with BMA Architecture, ZDS Architecture & Interior Design, Veitas and Veitas Engineers, and Wozny Barbar & Associates. The $21 million project is expected to be completed in February 2017.
The 118-key Hilton Homewood Suites Hotel will comprise 6 stories and be constructed with a wood frame over a steel podium. On-site amenities will include a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and fitness center. Additionally, the development will feature an expansive parking lot suited to accommodate 120 cars.
Located just off Route 290, the new Hilton Homewood Suites Hotel will be uniquely situated adjacent to the Historic Union Station (MBTA), offices, a growing upscale restaurant scene, and diverse shopping opportunities.

Notably, First Bristol Corporation selected Tocci to construct the Hilton Homewood Suites Hotel due-in-part to its previous relationship in delivering a Hampton Inn in Raynham, MA, and the firm’s ability to effectively stay within pre-established budgets and schedules.
