The Scoop: Solar Beyond The Roof

As solar power becomes an even more desirable alternative energy source, architecture is adapting to incorporate solar panels into the design of a new building or integrating them seamlessly into an existing building. Often we see the panels on the roof where the most sun exposure reaches the building. But as technology advances solar panels can now be wrapped around whole buildings. We’ve pulled together some unique buildings from across the globe that have elevated their solar energy beyond the roof.
