Project Notes
22,000 square foot renovation and addition to the Foster Hospital for Small Animals at Tufts University’s Grafton Campus. Approximately 16,000 square foot renovation including exam rooms, treatment rooms, support rooms and emergency rooms. 4,000 square foot curtain wall addition for a new reception area. Key objectives included:
- Relocate and expand the reception and waiting room areas
- Co-locate other key client functions at the front of the hospital to facilitate and improve client communications and client flow
- Provide more state-of-the art exam rooms near the front entrance so that the client areas and treatment areas both are aligned in supporting the high quality of care delivered in the FHSA. Visitor traffic would be kept away from the treatment areas while safe, clean and efficient rooms in which staff can work will be created
