Tocci Service Grant Awarded to Moises Berrun
Moises Berrun, a Virtual Design and Construction Modeler, has received a matching grant from Tocci. On Sunday March18th he and his Yale Alumni team will run a half marathon in NYC. Their goal is to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
In his application for the grant Moises notes the dual benefits of the project saying, “It is an opportunity to raise funds in the effort to eradicate blood cancers and support patients and their families, as well as an opportunity to train with a dedicated group of people.”
You may not be eager to run 13 miles, but Moises says, “It is a way for me to help others since I am blessed to be in good health.”
In case you are inspired to participate (in the giving, not the running) here is the link to his team’s fund raising page for LLS. Once you are on this page, click on Moises Berrun to donate.
How the matching works on our end–
At Tocci Building Companies, we encourage service and volunteering by offering our employees a Service Work Grant. Once applications are approved, our controller, Johan MacKenzie, manages the giving, enabling anonymity while TBC matches employee donations. We hope you’ll join us in supporting Moises in his goal to serve others.
