This past Saturday marked the 6th Annual Buddy Run.
The event is sponsored by the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club — the Club rode to honor a fallen member, and then returned to SPARK for a community festival with concessions, music, raffles, and family-friendly activities, such as face painting and pony rides. There were over 100 riders present for the 2 hours long, police-escorted ride to Buddy Brown’s gravesite and back. The event was held to support the hard work of the SPARK Center.
This partnership will yield positive results and new opportunities for our firm, as well as The New England Regional Council of Carpenters, due to a shared understanding of industry-leading building processes, quality of work, and safety practices. We look forward to collaborative efforts on new and notable projects while continuing to deliver highly-efficient and cost-effective solutions to our clients in the future.

The SPARK Center combines medical care with education to help Boston’s highest-risk children to build brighter tomorrows. SPARK (Supporting Parents and Resilient Kids) makes long-term investments in fragile children—helping them to believe in themselves, make healthy choices, cope with emotional problems, achieve in school, and gain success as adults. Most of the children at the SPARK Center live in poverty, with parents and caregivers who struggle daily to maintain the integrity of their families.
We are so pleased that John, Lila, and the Tocci team were able to join us for our 6th Annual “Buddy Run.” Their event sponsorship and attendance in the ride is yet another indication of their passion for helping at risk children and supporting the important work of the SPARK Center.
