Suites built include extended-stays in Burlington, MA; Braintree, MA; & Jersey City, NJ. Each involved participation in land location, P & S negotiation, permitting and design/build project delivery. Each, while based on a brand strategy, required a customized design and construction program. A fast-tracked permitting program for the Braintree project resulted in a ten month approval cycle. The Burlington hotel required extensive redesign to meet municipal preference for a masonry shell. The Jersey City hotel was modified from typical ring-community 3-floor configuration to an urbanized footprint and 8-story mass. This hotel, built in the Hudson River redevelopment district, also included an arts initiative that entailed the commission and installation of a sculpture designed by a recognized New Jersey artist. Keys throughout the trio accommodate long-term guests will full kitchens, work area with high-speed internet access, living/entertaining space and a bed/bath area.
