Our History

1922

Tocci Building Companies was founded as John Tocci & Sons by Giovanni Tocci, a skilled Italian mason who immigrated to the United States in 1917.

1956

Giovanni’s son Valentino assumed control of the firm and increased the scope of work to include commercial and public projects.

1985

John L. Tocci, Valentino’s oldest son, took the helm. John expanded the company into one of the largest open shop construction managers in New England.

Today

Under John’s guidance, Tocci Building Companies has garnered national recognition for its pioneering work perfecting the building process through Virtual Design and Construction and Integrated Project Delivery.
