And those weekday events? BRCC takes reaching out to the community seriously. Some of what they do–
- CARS ministry for single moms
- Divorce recovery workshops
- Summer Adventure day camp
- Bridgeport Rescue Mission, BRCC also collaborates with several other recovery ministries in the area.
- Urban Impact: 200 Black Rockers provide inner city kids in Bridgeport with mentors at school, ongoing activities, and transportation for those who wish to attend church.
- Marriage mentor program for those considering marriage or marriages in need of help.
- Programs for children of all ages including high school
- Elderly services
- Grief and bereavement counseling
- Financial counseling
And. . . if you attend BRCC but don’t know where to jump in or what you are good at, you can sign up to work with a coach who help you find your sweet spot of volunteering.
Who wouldn’t want to help a client that does so much good, do more? At Tocci we want to maximize every effort — to partner most effectively to help Black Rock Congregational keep doing what they are so good at. A good value indeed.
