In his own words:

I was born and raised in East Boston, growing up I didn’t have much in life, but always had what I needed which was a roof over my head, a hot meal in my belly, clothes on my back and 2 loving parents who did everything they could for my younger sister and myself. I never recalled any holiday or birthday ever passing us by without some kind of present or party.

I was never quite sure what I wanted to be in my very early years, and then one Christmas morning my parents gave me a plastic erector set with plastic columns and beams. It also had plastic window panels that attached to the beams and columns kind of like you would now attach a curtain wall system to a structure.

The columns would be inserted into a pegboard so your imagination was as big as the surface of the pegboard was and as tall as I wanted to make a building. I guess I would say that was the defining moment in my life when I knew that this was what I wanted to do with my life. Although, if you ask any of my close and personal friends who have known me for over 20 years they always tell me I missed my calling to be either a State Trooper or U.S. Marshal because I’m at times so black and white in life and don’t have any gray areas.

I first gained an interest in architecture which in my opinion is the foundation for knowing how to put the nuts and bolts of a building together. I attended Wentworth Institute where I obtained a Certificate in Architectural Drafting. I went to work for an Architect in Boston for a few years and realized that Mike Brady of the Brady Bunch was really over glamorizing the entire Architect thing.

At that point I realized I had two challenges ahead of me.

1. I needed to acquire more education.

2. I wanted to work on the construction side of the industry.

I went back to Wentworth and obtained my BS in Architectural Engineering (guess you can’t take the Architect out of me completely) and then began my career working for CM firms.

My hobbies are fishing when I can get down to Racepoint Beach and trap shooting in a summer league along with other competitive shooting sports. I’m married to the best woman in the world and I’m very thankful that she’s in my life every day. I have two small children, who at times are a handful, but wouldn’t trade for anything in the world, my daughter Alexis who will be 3 in August and my son Jackson who will be 1 in September. I currently reside in Pelham, NH.
